Glenrothes Grizzlies 9/11/14

Sunday 9th Nov saw Glenrothes Grizlies visit East Kilbride, the day saw 4 very competitve games, with the effort from both teams faultless.

Under 14s

East Kilbride 9 Glenrothes 14

Thomson 4, Carlin 2, Frame, Sheppard, Barber.

The under 14s started the day, and set the tempo for the day, a fast paced and highly competitive match, which saw Adam Thomson score 4, Ryan Carlin score 2 and Kobe Barber, Craig Frame and SamSheppard all score 1, as the Eagles tried in vain to get back on terms with the Grizlies.

Under 10s

East Kilbride 3 Glenrothes 4

De Simone 2, Paterson

Next up where the under 10s and this was a real end to end tie, Luca De Simone and Aiden Paterson getting on the score sheet in a game where the Eagles out shot their opponents. The young EK side were really unlucky not to get the win.

Under 16s

East Kilbrdie 5 Glenrothes 9

The third game of the day was played in the spirit of the previous games, at a very high tempo with some great skills on show from both sides, Craig Frame bagged 2 as did Adan Thomson, with Ryan Carlin also getting amongst the goals.

The final game of the day was a real end to end affair, with Glenrothes coming out on top again. Tom Morganthaler playing out scored 3 as did Luca De Simone, with Aiden Paterson chipping in with 2, the mainly under 10 team battled well, before being hit on the break as they pushed for the goals that would get them level.
